We offer a number of
different classes each term. For our current
offering look at our class descriptions page. Many of those classes are offered
on a continuing basis. Listed below are descriptions for classes we have offered in previous terms but
may not be offering this term.
Ancient Cultures (4-6)
In this course students will understand the differences between the ancient cultures in Europe, Africa and
Asia and themselves in the present time. The course will describe how people in different times and places
viewed the world in different ways. Through hands on activities students will explore how these cultures
influenced how we live today.
Apple Tree Farm (4-6 yr. old)
Games and stories relating to the Farm Yard Tales books by Usborne. There may be a $6.95 charge for each
student to purchase the Letters to Copy book from the Farm Yard Tales series.
Art (4-6 yr. old)
Come join the fun, with painting, drawing, sculpting.
Art (5-7)
Students will learn different aspects of art by working on a variety of projects.
Art History (4-6, 7+)
This course will provide instruction and activities to increase the student's understanding of art history.
Art with Stamps (5+)
We will be making a variety of projects using rubber stamps. Stamping is commonly used to make cards,
which are fun to make and receive, but we are going to take it a step further! We’ll create our own
journals and note pads, design magnets and pins, decorate picture frames, make a set of coasters and many
more clever ideas! There are stamps of ALL kinds that will interest girls and boys. From flowers and
animals to four wheelers and basketballs there is something for everyone.
There will be a fee of $10.00 per student.
Class Size: 10 Maximum
Balloon Sculpture (5+)
Students will learn to create various characters using balloons! This should be a fun, creative class
where children will learn to twist and manipulate balloons to create many different balloon characters.
Some of the characters we will be making include: dog, kitty, mouse, giraffe, flower, dino, ladybug,
turtle, and many more! Students will need to have the ability to tie a balloon. Students are expected
to have their own supplies which include:
- Bag of 144 2” x 60” sculpting balloons,
- balloon pump,
- scissors,
- black “Sharpie” marker
- folder,
- tall kitchen garbage bag to carry balloons home
All supplies can be purchased at Hobby Lobby or a similar store. Students will bring their own supplies to
class. The balloon pump is around $4.00 and a bag of 144 balloons is $6.99. Students will most likely use
more than one bag of balloons.
Bible Discovery (2-4)
Games, games and more games. Come join in on the fun and action as we learn scripture verses and biblical
truth through game playing. Games like musical chairs, disappearing words, feather relay and much, much
more. Lots of fun (and learning) to be had by all. Playing games helps children to learn about God and His
Word. The games included in this class are not to identify the smartest, most out-going, most aggressive,
or most competitive child in the class. Each game is intended to build the self-confidence and biblical
knowledge of each child. Weekly bible verse memorization is expected.
Class size: 4 -14
Bible Stories(1-3)
We will be reading Bible stories and verses along with various activities including acting out the
story, coloring a page or doing a craft.
Biology (8+)
Class is designed for group discussion of text and performance of lab experiments. This is part 1 of a
two-part class. We are planning to cover Modules 1 – 8 the first co-op semester; Modules 9-16 in spring,
2007.
We will be using Exploring Creation with Biology by Dr. Jay Wile, 1st Edition. This curriculum has
a companion CD-Rom which we may utilize in class, also occasional video segments may be shown from other
sources. Students are encouraged to obtain their own copy of the textbook along with its Solutions and
Tests booklet. Check e-Bay or www.apologia.com. Students will be expected to complete “On Your Own”
questions, study guide questions and tests at home, at parents’ discretion.
Most materials will be supplied by teachers; any extra supplies for students to bring from home will be
requested through e-mail.
Class Size: 8 Maximum
Book Making (5+)
Learn how to make different types of paper books: Layered Books, Matchbox Books, Pocket Books, Time Line
Books to name a few. These can then be used in various ways to organize information from other classes
(such as vocabulary words, history facts) or make your own joke books!
Students will need to bring glue sticks, scissors, and markers to class each week and there may be light
homework of gathering information from other subjects or using info from The Lion, the Witch, and the
Wardrobe.
Body by Design (5-7, 8+)
We will focus on basic anatomy and physiology of the incredible body God created. There will be hands
on activities including taking each other’s blood pressure and testing our body fat! My goal is to teach
how and why our body functions as it does while searching for evidence of creation – not evolution!
There will be a $5.00 fee per child for
this semester
There is a maximum of 10 students per class session.
Career Investigating (8+)
Check out some career possibilities! There will be weekly guest speakers representing various career
fields, such as: police, medical, arts, etc. We will develop interview questions and compile our
information at the end of the semester. The goal of this class is to present different possibilities for
your future and what it takes to get there. Students will need to bring a notebook and pencil to class.

Children's Play (4-6)
The students will work together to put on a performance for our Spring program. This production will
involve everyone and will include singing and acting as well as learning various aspects of theater
performance.
Circle Stories (K-3)
This class is unique in that as a group we will develop a story. Every child will participate in the
development of this story that will result in their own special books, including individual
illustrations.
Cognitive Games (4-6 yr. old)
In Cognitive Games, we will learn and practice reading, math and science skills through games. We will
also make our own cognitive games to take home and play with our families. There will be a $5.00 fee per child for
this semester to cover the costs of the materials used to create the games.
Cognitive Games (5+)
We’ll be playing a variety of games that will require logic and reasoning, strategy and planning. Mirror cards provide an
exciting method by which you can develop an understanding of reflection and symmetry while developing skills in observation,
classification, measurement and prediction. We’ll also be using Think Lab cards which are challenges in creative and logical
problem solving using manipulatives. We’ll also be using “impossible” puzzles, pentominos and other games which make you go
“hmmmmm”
There is a maximum of 10 students per class
Colonial America (5-7)
This course will examine the history of America and identify how God worked through the founders of this
country to establish this great nation. The years 1492 to 1765 begin the awesome story of God’s plan
for America. Students will utilize hands-on activities each week to help understand the time, people
and events that surround this. Occasional homework with 1 – 2 larger assignments.
Cooking (1-3; 4-6; 7+)
Students will plan a dinner party from the beginning to end including table setting, place cards,
soup, salad, side dishes, main meal and dessert. Don't forget clean-up! Our last class will prepare a
complete dinner for the entire co-op. Suitable activities for each group will be planned based on the
grade level.
(Non-)Cooking Fun (1-3)
A class for the younger kids to show how to have fun "in the kitchen" without having to cook.
Creation Celebration (2-4)
This class will explore the questions:
- Is the earth really billions of years old?
- Did dinosaurs die out millions of years ago?
- Did they live with man?
- What does the Bible say?
- What doe the evidence say about creation vs. evolution?
Occasionally light homework will be required. Students will need to bring a pencil and folder each week.
There will be a $5.00 per student fee for a t-shirt. (This class was previously offered for 5th -7th as
Discovering Creation)
Crocheting (2-4)
Each student will need to bring their favorite doll, stuffed animal, etc. We will make a scarf set, one
for the doll/animal and one for the student. I will purchase all supplies (with the exception of a
carrying bag for their project, separate from backpack) needed for class and the students can purchase
them from me, this way we are all working with the same tools.
Crocheting (5+)
This is a beginning class. Each student will have a choice of items they can make, such as, scarves,
pot holders, place mats, ponchos, throws or a blanket. The student will need to work on their project
at home in order to finish before the semester is over. Depending on how quickly a student picks up a
stitch, I will teach them a new stitch. Students will need to provide a carrying bag for their projects
separate from their backpacks. I will purchase all supplies needed for class and students can purchase
supplies from me. This way we are all working with the same tools.
Cultural Timeline (7+)
We will continue to study American history and culture from the Civil War through the 20th Century and make
it come alive through the use of classic movies, historical footage, and documentaries. Our goal will
be to better understand the dynamics of American history, learn lessons from it, and see more clearly
how our past still affects us today. The focus this term will be on the 20th Century.
Desserts Copycats (5+)
We will use recipes for famous sweets. For example: “Heath Bars,” “Cheesecake,” “Banana Split,”
“Twinkies,” “Pecan Pie,” and “Mrs. Field’s Chocolate Chip Cookies.” We will personalize an apron in the
first class and sample a few prepared recipes for future classes and get to know fellow chefs. Clean-up
will be a part of every class. Students will be advised the week before about cookies sheet, pie pan or
9x13 pan needed for recipe. There will be a $3.00 per week fee assessed to cover costs of ingredients.
Class size: Maximum of 8 per session.
Dinner to Go (4-6)
The kids will be preparing an entree for 4 to be taken home and cooked. The moms will be contacted before
each co-op day so they'll know what sort of casserole dish or pan will be needed. The kids will do all the
preparation and clean up with supervision. Each child will be given a recipe card with cooking instructions
for each dish. The cost will be $5.00 per week. Fees will not be due all at once, but will be collected
on a monthly basis.
Maximum of 10 students
Debate (8+)
The goal of this class is to look at issues in different ways in order to improve critical thinking skills
and to use a more structured debate format than used in the "Know Your Rights" class. Issues debated will
include some of the more interesting ones we touched on in “Know Your Rights”. Students must be willing to
prepare before class. We will try to debate issues students are at least somewhat familiar with, but they
will need to prepare outlines in order to debate.
Active classroom participation is expected so students MUST be willing to speak! Bring notebook to
class each week.
Discovering Creation (5-7)
This class will explore the questions:

Elements of Mythology (7+)
We will learn the different literary elements that compose a myth through the study of the “Star Wars”
movies. By relating this class to stories that the students are familiar with they will be able to identify
these elements in these particular scenarios as well as other pieces. Students will need a folder, notebook
paper, and pens/pencils.
Emma (8+)
Jane Austen is one of the most well-known authors of the early 19th century. We will continue our study of
Austen’s satirical wit and humor as we read her novel about an imperfect 21-year-old heroine, Emma. As is
usual with Austen’s characters, we will quickly learn of their mannerisms and habits and see how little
people have changed in 200 years. This is not strictly a girl’s book!
Students will be expected to keep up with the weekly reading assignments as well as be prepared to answer
short questions at home or in class. There will be one short essay assigned which will be due approximately
two weeks before the completion of co-op. We will also watch one or more movie versions of the novel.
Class size: Minimum of four students.
First Aid (5+)

Fun & Games (4-6 yr. old)
We will be playing games, learning songs, making crafts and learning!
Geography (2-4)
Description to be provided.
Hands on Math (4-6 yr. old)
We will use hands-on activities and materials to explore basic math concepts, such as: geometry, patterns,
classification, money, measurement, addition, subtraction, numbers and number sense.
Hands-on-Science (1-3, 4-6)
Exploring science through hands-on experiments.
Holocaust Studies (8+)
Knowledge of WWII and the "Jewish problem" will be addressed. The purpose is to teach critical thinking
skills and to examine how Jews came to be viewed as less than human. The class will also address ideologies
that lead to errant thinking i.e., superior race, and ask ourselves if we see any of this in our culture.
The class will look at the power of hate and how one can confront and debilitate that power, especially as
we talk about Corrie Ten Boom and the resistance power Christ gave to her in unimaginable circumstances. The
class will cover the following topics: Hitler and the 3rd Reich, a Mr. Klemperer's diary, the Resistance and
survivors, America's involvement, Pearl Harbor and the decision to use the A-bomb, Roosevelt and Winston
Churchill and finally, Liberation. The conceived format will be lecture, reading aloud by all, group
discussions about various topics and themes of German culture, ideas and beliefs that allowed the
destruction of 6 million Jews, 1 million which were children. Note taking would be a good idea, and there
will be documentaries shown, all of which will have been previewed for content, esp. gross violence and
nudity. Due to the subject and content of this class, it is recommended for only 8th grade and
older. Class size: 5-15
How Sweet It Is-Europe (5+)
We will be cooking desserts from 12 of the 25 member-nations of the EU. The students will do all the
preparation. Some of the recipes will be brought home as a finished product and others will be sent home
ready to bake. Each recipe will also include a brief history of the country and a little information about
the European Union. Each student will be informed by email what is needed for class. Usually a 9”x13” pan,
a cookie sheet or muffin pans.
There will be a $3.00 per class fee for each student.
There is a maximum of 7 students per class session.
Journeys in Pilgrim's Progress (7+)
Join us as we study the story of Pilgrim and his journey to the Celestial City. Learn how he overcame
obstacles and how you can strengthen your walk with God.
Kitchen Chemistry (5-7, 8+)
This class will explore the world of chemistry in the kitchen. Various experiments will be conducted to
learn the chemical reactions of everyday items in the kitchen.
Class size: 8 students maximum per class
Know Your Rights (8+)
We will continue discussing and debating the Bill of Rights along with other important amendments to the
Constitution. This class is recommended for students 8th grade and older. There will be
some note taking, so a 3-ring binder is recommended. No class fee.
Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe (5-7)
This is a 1 semester class during which children will read The Lion, Witch, and the
Wardrobe. We will have
discussions about historical and literary aspects of the book and do related art and writing projects. In
the end, we will compare the book and the movie.
Participants will need a copy of the book and have read the first 3 chapters before the first class.
Lord of the Rings Writing-1 (8+)
This is a course put out by Homescholar Books. The children will read The Lord of the Rings and each week
learn about literary analysis and interpretation. They will also learn about epic literature, including
The Iliad, The Odyssey, Beowulf, and The Aenid. See “homescholar.org” for more detailed information.
Those who take this class will need to get a copy of Lord of the Rings and read the prologue and
Chapters 1-3 before the first class. The web site recommends specific copies because their page numbers
that correspond to the assignments. This may be helpful at times, but any copy of the book will be fine.
There will be weekly essay assignments of about 1 page. There will also be some vocabulary homework.

participate in class discussions.

Making a Joyful Noise (1-4)
Children will learn songs for Jesus using hand and body motions along with interacting with the
music using instruments.
Medieval Times (2-4, 5-7)
We will learn about life, events, music, architecture, games, and famous people of the middle ages through
various activities. In the fall each child made a castle. This semester we will also make costumes and
work our part in a spring “festival”.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream (8+)
We will examine and gain appreciation for Shakespeare’s classic romantic comedy. Class time will be spent
reading aloud from and discussing the play, taking some notes, listening to occasional audio excerpts, and
will culminate in the viewing of a movie version.
Each student should obtain their own copy of the play, preferably the Signet Classic Edition (available at
Barnes & Noble for $8.95; or check other bookstores). Students are expected to fulfill weekly reading
assignments at home.
Music (4-6 yr. old)
Our emphasis will be on singing and having fun through music.
Music Appreciation (5+)
Music influences our lives in many ways. Even TV commercials and cartoons use famous classical
compositions by composers such as Beethoven and Haydn. We will learn about several composers, their lives,
and their compositions, while listening to their music. We will learn about different music styles, time
periods and gain a greater appreciation for music and the men who composed some of the world’s most famous
pieces.
Students will need to bring pencils, colored pencils and a folder to class.
My Body (K-3)
We'll be learning about the different parts of the Human Body as we explore the brain, heart, kidneys and
bladder, pancreas, spleen, gallbladder, skeleton, muscles, intestines, liver, lungs and senses. No gender
specific material will be shown or discussed.
Origami (2-4, 5+)
Students will learn techniques in Origami and will practice by creating various shapes.
Playdough/Snacktime (4-6 yr. old)
We will begin our class with a light snack, and then we will have fun playing with play-dough, as well as some other creative
materials.
Presidents (2-4)
Just who was the 13th president anyway? Come and find out AND learn all about the other US Presidents too.
You will be able to remember the names of all presidents in chronological order by the end of class.
Pride and Prejudice (8+)
We will read and study the book Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. The class will focus on the literature
elements of the book as well as its historical period (18th Century England). We will also spend time
viewing the mini series. Each student should have their own copy of the book to read.
Class size: Minimum of four students.
Proverbs 31 for Girls - Ruby Dolls (4-6)
We will learn more of the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31. What is she like? What does she
do? How does she treat others? We will also make a pipe cleaner Ruby Doll and family (as time permits).
Puppetry I (2-4)
Beginning Puppetry for 2nd to 4th graders will introduce the student to basic puppetry skills. Each
student will participate in making their own quality puppet. The arm rods will be purchased online. All
students will perform in our puppet show at our Annual CFEC Spring Performance. Students will need to
practice using his/her puppet and memorize his/her lines for the puppet show. Students will be required to
bring his/her puppet to class (once completed for the beginners) and will need to costume his/her puppet
for the performance if the script calls for that.
Each beginning student will be required to pay $25 for the materials to make his/her puppet and this will
include an arm rod for $2.75 from puppetrevelation.com.
Class size: maximum of 12
Puppetry II (5+)
Advanced Puppetry for 5th graders and older will be for students who already have his/her own puppet and
some basic knowledge of use. These students will expand their puppetry skills by learning human arm
puppetry. All students will perform in our puppet show at our Annual CFEC Spring Performance. Students
will need to practice using his/her puppet and memorize his/her lines for the puppet show. Students will
be required to bring his/her puppet to class (once completed for the beginners) and will need to costume
his/her puppet for the performance if the script calls for that.
Each advanced student will be required to pay $15 for the materials to make his/her human hand gloves and
sleeves.
Class size: maximum of 12
Readers' Theatre (5+)
This class is for students who wish to participate by reading aloud in a group setting. The content of the
scripts we will be reading varies: choral reading, historical events, familiar literary works, and more.
All are geared for students; no memorization is required. We will also be playing some acting games to help
develop students’ role-playing ability.
Class size: Maximum 8 students
Readers' Theatre (8+)
We will be reading aloud from a variety of scripts, including those based on historical events, literary
works, radio shows and others. We will emphasize the use of voice to convey action and characterization,
as well as to interpret emotions. Also included will be some favorite theatre games. We will be using
scripts which have been copied from various sources for students and students will be given the optional
opportunity to write up a script of their own for the class.
The Science Chef (4-6)
Questions, questions and more questions. Why does popcorn pop? Why do onions make you cry? How does
bread rise? How do sauces thicken? To help students learn Science in a different and exciting way students
will learn the answers to these questions and more as they discover Science through hands-on cooking
projects.
Minimum 4 students, Maximum 10
Science in the Bible (5-7)
A class of hands-on experiments that will illustrate basic scientific truth while teaching biblical
principles. Each experiment will show the order and magnificence of creation and will inspire an awareness
of all the things God has made.

Science "Magic" (1-3, 4-6)
Exploring science through hands-on experiments.
Show & Tell (4-6 yr. old)
Each week we will be sharing one story or item from home. We will be working on effective communication
and confidence speaking in front of the group. The class will use the book From Playpen to Podium
and each student will need to bring ONE item or story each week to class to share. No pets or messy items
(no exceptions).
Sign Language (2-4)
This class will introduce the student to sign language. We will start with learning to sign the alphabet. I
will use simple Bible verses and worship songs to teach signing words. Hopefully this class will do a verse
and song for out spring program. Students should expect to practice the signs we learn each week.
Sign Language (5+)
After a quick review of our alphabet we will begin signing scriptures and worship songs. Students are
welcome to share their favorite verse with the class and we will learn the signs for it. This class will
sign a scripture and song for our spring program. Students should expect to practice the signs we learn
each week.
Singing Fun (1-3)
We will have fun singing as a group and learning basic musical terms and concepts.
Snack/Show & Tell (4-6 yr. old)
We will spend time learning through reading, emphasizing the enjoyment of reading and literature, as well as
have a light snack.
Spanish (4-6)
This class is an introduction to the Spanish language. We will be learning vocabulary and simple
every-day expressions needed to communicate through various methods such as games, drills, etc.
Continuing Spanish (4-6)
This is a continuation of Beginning Spanish. We will learn vocabulary with more conversation and
translation. Previous Spanish knowledge is preferred. There will be light weekly homework. A folder/binder
and pen/pencil is required each week.
Spanish (5+)
The class will cover various aspects of the Spanish language. We will be using various methods, such as
games, drills, etc, to learn vocabulary and simple every-day expressions needed to communicate. Previous
Spanish knowledge is helpful but not required. There will be light weekly homework. A folder/binder
and pen/pencil is required each week.
Speech (8+)
This course will allow students to learn the building blocks of successful public speeches. Each
student will have the opportunity to learn the basic elements of successful public speaking by giving
speeches and by learning to evaluate others. Along the way we can have fun learning from each other about
a variety of topics. Each week students may be giving a speech or evaluating another student speaker.
Homework will be required to prepare for assignments.
Class size: Minimum of four students.
Storytime Fun (4-6 yr. old)
This class will involve stories for 4 to 6 year old, particularly classics, old and new, with some
activity associated with the particular story for the day. The activity will vary from songs to food to
games to simple crafts.
A Study of Flight (7+)
In this class we will take a look at flight. We will cover the science behind it, the history of its
development, and how it has affected human society. We will also have some fun constructing different
paper airplane designs to illustrate some of the scientific principles of flight.
Theater (2-4)
The class will be performing a theatrical production of The Elves and the Shoemaker, adapted by Karen Boettcher-Tate. This is
a lively retelling of an old favorite story by Brother’s Grimm. The performance is filled with delightfully odd characters and
talented scripts. Its curious caper holds a soothing message about the character of kindness.
Students will be expected to memorize their lines. There may be additional practice times -
TBA.
There will be an $8.00 fee per student to cover the costs of the scripts and costumes.

The older students will work together to develop a play for our Spring program. The students will be guided
through the process of theater production, but ultimately they will be working together to make all the
decisions involved in their final production. Weekly assignments may be expected involving in play production, including
memorization and possible writing assignments.
There will be an $8.00 fee per student to cover the costs of the scripts and costumes.
Last year the theater class bought t-shirt. The cost was about $14 per shirt, but this is optional.
Turning Points in History (8+)
Using a video series of historical re-enactments, we will take a journey through world history focusing
on 13 key events. We will also use Bob Jones 10th grade World History text to provide additional
background material for the course. Although the videos are a key part of the course, there will be time
set aside for lecture and class discussion. Students may be asked to do light research at home to enhance
classroom discussion.
It is important to note that the videos are listed for grades 8 through adult, and may contain some scenes
too intense for younger children. (It is very possible that this course will continue into the second
semester, with additional material to flesh out the course.)

There will be a $3.00 fee per student to cover the costs of materials.
Where the Brook & River Meet (7+)
This literature-based study utilizes the novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery and
gives the student insight into the culture of the time (late 1800's). World history, geography, language
arts, literature, and perhaps even some cooking will be included in our study. Students will be expected
to read the book, and parents can be provided with extra information to turn this into a credit class,
if they so desire. This course is not for girls only.
Yearbook/Scrapbooking (5+)
What is a "safe" photo album? This class will cover steps to making your own safe, meaningful, and creative photo album. Tips
for photojournaling and fun things to do with pens and handwriting will be among the things the class offers. Learn how to crop,
mount, decorate and journal about your photos in safe photo albums (albums and supplies may be purchased from the teacher). First
half of the class will be spent learning how to crop, mount, and journal with your photos. Second half of class will be spent
compiling the annual CFEC yearbook! Kids need their own albums, mounting tape, and a pen for journaling. They can be purchased

Preschoolers will get a chance to get their wiggles out with this action-based music class. Children will become familiar
with quality children’s music as they learn physical coordination and following directions.
Sign Language (1-2)
Students will learn the fundamentals of American Sign Language such as the alphabet, family members and basic commands. Through
class practice the students will also learn to sign the words to a contemporary praise song.
Homework: Minimal review of signs learned.

Science parts 1 & 2 (1-2)
This class spans both periods C and D. Simple science experiments that use items commonly found in the home to teach
important truths from God’s Word. Attempt to crush a raw egg to learn about God’s protection, make candies “spark” and learn
how to be a light in the world, watch how peas fall out of a glass and learn to follow God not the world. Other topics:
Peer Pressure, To Know is to Grow, Choosing Friends. There is a scripture for each week, activities, discussion, and a life
slogan.
Art (3-5)
Utilizing a wide variety of different materials and techniques, this class will focus on fun and imaginative art
projects.

Each week your child will bring home a dish with approximately 4 servings. It will be a main dish every other week with

Readers' Theater (3+)
This class is for students who wish to participate by reading aloud in a group setting. The content of the
scripts we will be reading varies: choral reading, historical events, familiar literary works, and more.
All are geared for students; no memorization is required. We will also be playing some acting games to help
develop students’ role-playing ability.

Worldviews (6+)
All of us visualize ourselves and the world in which we live through a particular set of beliefs, attitudes and values. These
factors are used as a filter in which we process all information. In this course you will discover whether your daily choices
reflect a true biblical worldview.
This is a 2 part course being offered this Fall semester and again in the Spring.
Student Responsibilities:
There are twelve chapters and a worksheet that goes with each chapter. Each student should read a chapter and fill out the
required chapter worksheet during the week as part of their homework.
Each test and the final examines should also be completed by each student on their own time during the week. Each student
MUST take the pre-test and post-test ONLINE
Fees:

We will learn the different literary elements that compose a myth through the study of the “Star Wars” movies. By relating this
class to stories that the students are familiar with they will be able to identify these elements in these particular scenarios
as well as other pieces.
Students will need a folder, notebook paper, and pens/pencils.

Intro to Theater (8+)
Lights, camera, ACTION! This fall, our junior high and high school students will be exploring the wonderful world of the
theater arts. With a Biblical rationale for drama study, this course will teach the basics of acting and enable students to
develop their creative skills.
